It was clear that Barcelona arrived to the 1st Clasico as a clear underdog. But still, when both teams started playing, you could see a good performance by Koeman’s players. It seems like the main strategy of the team worked, but the players failed to convert their chances. And like many times before, Real Madrid knew how to get the goal, and let Barcelona chase them for what will turn out to be 4th loss in a row inEl Clasico
The thing that irritates me is that once again, Koeman’s subs didn’t work. Moreover, bringing Luuk de Jong into the field only made a mess. But still, the first goal by Aguero is good news. You can see how a natural striker in the box can make your attacks a lot more effective. I really hope to see more from him.
Like I said before, our squad is far from enough to get to the higher rounds of the Champions League. However, we can and should provide better football.
Personally, I think that Koeman just doesn’t have what it takes to make this team better. Tonight he broke another Barcelona ‘Record’ of the 1st coach in 85 years to lose 3 Clasico clashes in a row.
Now it’s time to pick up the pieces and look forward. Having Aguero will be great news. Moreover, It seems like Dembele is about to return in the next few days. However, with him the contract question is still an issue.
But the main issue is the coach. Will Koeman stay? Will we wait until the end of the season? Still many questions to answer
