As expected, a game full of drama & thrill. Unpredictable, full of tense and emotions, the game delivered. Barcelona beat Betis after two different halves, in particular the second one was much better compared to the first 45 minutes. However, lack of fluidity and dynamism in Barça’s campus in the first half. Furthermore, Miralem doesn’t feel comfortable playing an interior + Araujo’s unfortunate injury greatly costed Barça.
Second half, much better. Lionel Messi is unbelievable. His anticipation and vision is unmatched, extraterrestrial. He sees things seconds before it becomes obvious and executes them flawlessly. You can predict his next movee, but can’t stop it. Indefensible player.
Francisco Trincão is the hero of tonight’s game. A well deserved goal for him, a clutch goal. Beautiful & productive. Full of aesthetics and decisive. It was inevitable and thankfully it happened at the right time. A confidence booster for him, expect a better version of him onwards.
A night full of happiness …. But Araujo’s injured, unfortunately. If it was Ansu in the first game of FC Barcelona against Betis, it’s the Uruguayan now. Alarming news because he will most likely miss the first game against PSG. Unlucky Barça, only Lenglet, Mingueza & Umtiti left available now. Massive headache for Ronald Koeman.
