The deal will be the same as Riqui Puig’s to LA Galazy and Oscar Mingueza’s to Celta Vigo. He will leave for nothing. Howeever, Barça will maintain around 50% on any future transfer and a buyback clause.
Marmol wanted Barça to renew his contract and go out on loan because he had a lot of offers. But that never materialised.
The left-sided centre-back, who can also play at left-back, has a bright future ahead of him. He now must choose between Andorra or Las Palmas, who both have a Barça connection.
Andorra are coached by Eder Sarabia, Quique Setien’s former No.2 at Camp Nou, while Las Palmas are managed by Garcia Pimienta, the ex-Barça B boss.
