Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang still here to score the goals

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the 1st out of 6 goals the team scored against Inter Miami, Barcelona’s first game on the US tour. He chipped home neatly after a good assist from Raphinha in the 21st minute.

Aubameyang started pre-season showing the same touch for goals that brought with him last winter.

The Gabonese international also netted the club’s only goal of the season against Olot in a 1-1 draw last week.

Fighting for minutes

Although Lewandowski’s arrival will mean less minutes for Auba, he looks like he’s in a very good shape. If Xavi would know how to keep him sharp and with focus, he can be a lethal weapon. We saw it last season after his arrival in January. And we can still see it next season.

So far, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the top goal scorer for Barça this preseason, with 2 goals. It will be interesting to see him playing against the more serious opponents, starting Real Madrid this Sunday. And we all know how much he loves facing them.

The next match will see the first game of Lewandowski with a Barça shirt. He and Auba already played together in Dortmund. Basically,  both of them fight got the same spot. However, Auba can turn to be a useful weapon as a Plan B. Furthermore, he can play in the left wing, if needed.
