Here’s how the Barça players did in the draw vs Celta vigo at the Balaidos. A great First half, but an awful second half led to the team dropping a 3-0 lead at half time.
GK: Ter Stegen – 3/10: Away from home, Ter Stegen had a terrifying performance. He faced four shots but only saved one.
RB: Mingueza – 6.5/10: Virtually Mingueza played well, but Celta dominated the Barça defence in the game, you can really see his passion but he could improve.
CB: Garcia – 7/10: Played very solid in his position until he was taken off due to an injury.
CB: Lenglet – 6/10: He put up a decent show until the second half, while blocking a shot from Celta.
LB: Alba – 7/10: Played well on the offensive side of things, but Celta caused him trouble in the second half.
CM: De Jong – 6/10: Could’ve done more, but he surprisingly dropped in form this season. He had his flashes of brilliance but was not consistent enough to actually maintain the lead.
CDM: Busquets – 7.5/10: The captain played excellently, he scored a goal and registered 3 key passes.
CM: Nico Gonzalez – 8/10: His recent surge of form seemed to continue, his physical ability shined once again but he was taken off due to injury, adding to the injury toll.
RW: Gavi – 5/10: Once again played out of position, he produced yet another below average performance to his standards.
ST: Memphis – 7/10: He was significantly quiet but still managed to score a header, but he wasn’t quite as effective as he should be.
LW: Fati – 8/10: His goalscoring form continued, as his energy helped the whole team but as soon as he limped off with an injury the team’s mentality faltered.
Araujo: 6.5/10: His effort didn’t help Barça’s crumbling performance in the second half
Balde: 6/10: Was very isolated, and didn’t link up with anyone really well.
Puig – 7/10: His energy was the only bright thing from the second half, his creativity is something Barça needed but again the team’s mentality was lacking.
Abde – 6/10: Did quite well in his short appearance
