At seventh, Barcelona are still seeking to regain their contender status. If Koeman’s men performed in every Champions League match, the league season so far is far from a fairy tale. A loss against Atlético meant that Koeman already lost against Real Madrid and Atlético, far from great. However, it’s against Osasuna and Ferencvaros that the team has best performed, notably with players like Dembele and Griezmann playing well match after match. While these were “low” opposition, Cadiz could prove to be a real challenge. The Catalans will see themself forced to play accurately in order to create quality chances, and finally, score. For this, Koeman will need everyone’s best.
