Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was at the Clasico supporting his former teammates and then celebrating the victory in the dressing room. The Gabonese striker is not forgetting Barcelona and this is also what he conveyed to the club during his visit last Sunday. There was no meeting with Laporta, but both know that his return could be a reality if the situation allows the club to do so.

As was the case when he signed for Barça in January 2022, Aubameyang would once again be willing to facilitate his arrival. The economic conditions would not be a problem, as the player would again be willing to earn less than what he currently earns at Chelsea.
He arrived to great acclaim and left loved by every Barcelona fan. He fell on his feet with his somersaults and ‘impossible’ goals that allowed Barça to achieve their goal of qualifying and in his farewell, the club thanked him for it.
In fact, Aubameyang was a much-loved player in the Barça dressing room, it is clear to see, but he was also loved by Xavi and the board, who appreciated all his efforts and messages of love for the club.

A win-win transfer
Everything surrounding the former Arsenal player’s move was good for the club. He left the Gunners in the last hours of the winter transfer window to land in Barcelona. Aubameyang scored as many goals as he could. However, in the summer he left the club for 13 million euros.
For many months now, his situation at Chelsea has become untenable. He has been practically left out of the team and his appearances have become more and more limited. Being left out of the Champions League squad was the final blow. Now he is counting the days until everything is resolved and he’ll leave his club.
The Blues have made a huge investment in the winter transfer window that has not yet yielded the expected results. Despite this, Potter has not counted on him either and not being included week-after-week does nothing. But pave the way for a possible return to Barça.
The Premier League side will have to reduce their wage bill and this could accelerate the release of ‘Auba’. Although he is under contract until 2024, it looks like he could be released this summer.
