Barça will be one of the teams with the most representation at the Qatar World Cup. 16 Barça players will represent eight teams: Spain, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Brazil, Germany, Poland and Uruguay. Furthermore, La Masia will also have a lot of presence at the World Cup that will start on November 20. Barça’s youth academy will once again show its power.
Naturally, Luis Enrique’s Spain has the most La Masia graduates. Sergio Busquets, Eric Garcia, Jordi Alba, Gavi and Ansu Fati are part of the list for Qatar. Dani Olmo, currently in the ranks of Leipzig, has also been summoned by the Asturian coach too.
Leo Messi (Argentina), Xavi Simons (Netherlands), Paik Seung-Ho (South Korea), Take Kubo (Japan) and André Onana (Cameroon) will also be in Qatar.
In total, up to eleven players from La Masia will have the opportunity to play in the most prestigious competition in the world.
In addition, Ronald Araujo and Ez Abde have also been called up by Uruguay and Morocco, respectively. The two footballers did not grow up in the Catalan youth categories. But they did play in the reserve team
