“When you see Raphinha, you know he has something different”

In an interview to the Cope channel, Kiko Casilla, Leeds goalkeeper, praised his former teammate Raphinha, new signing for FC Barcelona. The former Espanyol player radiographed the Brazilian’s soccer profile. He assured that the young striker has all the required skills to adapt to Barca’s style of gameplay.

“He is explosive, direct and that can be a different tool for Barça’s game. He is a winger who can get inside and shoot”. It didn’t surprise Casilla that FC Barcelona noticed the Brazilian because he too considers him to be a player with a special talent. He said: “When you see him train, you know he has something different and that he stands out a lot”.

Moreover, he added that Raphinha has a good mind and that he is peculiar as a Brazilian. He is not too fond of partying, and he is a very hard worker. “He is very professional and hard-working, not the typical Brazilian of the past. He stays 20 minutes after training to practice the set piece and is very friendly”.
