Overall, this match wasn’t anything special. Boring for the most part, three points were all that mattered and we got the job done to put pressure on Atletico and Real Madrid playing against each other tomorrow.
Messi looks really tired, most of the team does. A bit of rest as thankfully he won’t play for Argentina during the upcoming break.
Illaix Moriba’s goal made it all worth it. Yet another kid having a breakthrough from La Masia! It’s a big reason to make me the happiest watching this team, more than winning trophies! The young players care about wearing the shirt. They don’t have anything holding them back and are completely focused on making their dreams come true.
Ansu Fati, Mingueza, Pedri, Illaix, Araújo, Dest… Many young players full of promise giving their all on pitch, what more could we ask for in this transitional season!
The craziest thing of all is that Alex Collado could be playing for the first team too, maybe he will in the coming months.
