After so many players were confirmed injured in the past few weeks. Garcia Pimienta now has to face FC Andorra with 15 Barcelona B players and 2 players from Juvenil A.

After Andorra earned their promotion to Segunda B last season, they faced Barça B only once. The second game wasn’t played after the season was cancelled, due to pandemic.

Andorra Player to watch: Hector Hevel (CAM) – Hector joined Andorra this summer from Cyprus club AEK Larnaca on a free deal, with the club giving him a 1-year contract. So far this season Hevel has been very impressive in Segunda B scoring 3 goals in 202 minutes of football. Averaging a goal every67 minutes for Pique’s Andorra.

Defence:

Recent injuries to Andres Solano and Igor Gomes, who will be out for the rest of the season, is one of the big problems for Barcelona B as they don’t have a fit RB. Meanwhile, Sergi Rosanas still hasn’t recovered from his injury and expected to return at the end of November. Pimienta will need to find a creative solution to the troublesome situation at Barcelona B. He could play Arnau Comas there, who played a few matches as RB in UEFA Youth League. With O.Busquets playing as CB when he spent his time on loan at Twente playing 10 games in that position. Meanwhile, Alvaro Sanz who came on for injured players, impressed in the second half after a strong performance and would be his preferable option for Garcia Pimienta.

Midfield:

Barcelona B midfield can also expect some changes in the line-up after it was confirmed that Ilaix Moriba got injured and will be out for a few weeks. Oriol Busquets and Lucas de Vega can be expected to keep their starting place. Matheus Pereira is looking to start his first game, after a good display in the second-half against Prat. Jandro Orellana has possibilities to start the game, however not expecting him to play 90 minutes right after coming back from an injury. Orellana could come in the second half to replace Busquets after he had not the best of performances against Prat making dangerous mistakes.

Attack:

Barcelona B attack will be rejuvenated with new wingers this game. After another wave of injuries, Hiroki Abe, Gustavo Maia are out of this game. Moreover, with Konrad travelling with the first team to face Real Betis. We can expect to see a different line up in attack with Nils playing his first minutes this season. We could a very talented Ilias Akhomach making his official debut for Barcelona B in a league game, and could start the game. After a horrible game from Rey Manaj could be expecting Zeballos given another chance to prove himself at a striker position.

Conclusions:

Barcelona B is getting hit very hard with injuries missing a lot of key players. They will be see a completely different team. Barcelona attack needs a spark to get them going with goals. Moreover, they managed to score only once in 2 official games, which was scored by a defender. It would be interesting to see what Ilias can offer to this team who are struggling in front of goal. And well Nils could become an excellent addition to the team with his creativity. Expecting a very tight game, and honestly can’t see this Barcelona B team winning this game and fighting for a draw. However, hopefully, if they will manage to perform at their best, they could leave Andorra with 3 points.
