OFFICIAL: Barcelona and Manchester City have reached an agreement for the loan of João Cancelo until 30 June 2024. There is no buy option. The club wishes to thank the player publicly for the financial effort made and his desire to wear the Barça shirt.
- Barcelona have not paid any loan fee to Atlético Madrid for João Félix. They are just paying his full salary.
OFFICIAL: Barcelona and Los Angeles FC have reached an agreement for the loan of Mamadou Fall for until June 30, 2024, with a purchase option for Barça. He will arrive in Barcelona in the coming days to undergo medicals and then join Barça Atlètic.
22:30 – Joao Felix is a FC Barcelona player!
Just a hour and a half left in the transfer window, and Barcelona announced the singing of Joao Felix. According to @MatteMoretto [relevo], Barça will pay João Félix’s full salary. Before leaving Atleti, he had renewed his contract until 2029 and lowered his salary.

BREAKING: Ez Abde sold to Real Betis for €7.5m with Barcelona reserving 50% rights of a future sale.
21:00 – Felix and Eric ‘Here We Go’
Barcelona’s expenditure in the summer would be only €3.4m if they don’t pay any loan fee for João Félix. The signings are Iñigo Martínez, İlkay Gündoğan, Oriol Romeu, João Cancelo and João Félix.

According to @tjuanmarti, Barcelona have reached an agreement to sign Mamadou Fall for Barça Atlètic. Everything indicates that it will be a loan with buy option of around €6m. If the documents are signed on him, he will arrive.

According to @HelenaCondis [cope], Ez Abde is not training today with permission from the club. They are trying to close his transfer to Real Betis. The President of Real Betis will present a personal bank guarantee to register Ez Abde.
Meanwhile, other reports say that Sevilla, Osasuna, Atlético Madrid and Aston Villa are entering the race to sign Abde.

Ansu Fati is not expected to make his Brighton debut tomorrow against Newcastle United, as already said by coach de Zerbi. He is expected to make his debut against Manchester United at Old Trafford on 16th September after the international break.
Meanwhile, @Marta_Ramon reports that La Liga are currently reviewing the documents of the bank guarantee worth more than €10m which Barça have presented. It is a long process.

According to @tjuanmarti, for Manchester City to accept João Cancelo’s loan, the condition was to give the approval to Eric García’s loan to Girona. City Football Group is the owner of both clubs.

17:00 – Felix is already in Barcelona
João Félix’s flight has landed in Barcelona. @gerardromero: “João Félix is taking photographs with the Barça shirt inside the airport.”
Meanwhile, @HelenaCondis [cope] confirms: Ez Abde is very close to joining Real Betis. However, Betis don’t have enough FFP margin at the moment.
Jorge Mendes’ plane also just landed in Barcelona. Cancelo is expected to land in Barcelona in the next hour.
16:30 – João Felix and Cancelo on their way
João Félix’s flight from Madrid to Barcelona is currently the most tracked flight in the world on flight radar 24. He is moments away from landing.
Meanwhile, @tjuanmarti reports that Ez Abde is one step away from joining Real Betis. The favourite option right now is Betis signing him for around €10m and Barça having 50% rights of a future sale, although confirmation on this is needed.
- @tjuanmarti: Sources close to Robert Lewandowski insist that Saudi Arabia’s approach came months ago and was rejected. They are not aware of anything else and emphasize that today Robert only thinks about Barça.

According to @JijantesFC, Sources from La Liga and also from Barcelona confirm that everything is OK for the arrival of the two Joãos – Cancelo and Félix. The two Portuguese players will join Barça, barring a radical turn of events that no one expects.
Meanwhile, according to @ffpolo & @martinezferran [md] Barcelona could still open the door for the possible exits of Eric García and Ez Abde to Girona and Real Betis respectively, due to the pressure exterted by them to leave and also to help with FFP to comfortably register other players. However, @Nilsola10 says Eric García will push until the end to go to Girona.
14:00 – Ansu’s loan deal announced
Brighton and Hove Albion announce the signing of Ansu Fati on loan from Barcelona. There is no buy option.

- According to @AdriaSoldevila: The money from Libero will not be arriving today. They’ve requested for a few days of margin. The board will therefore provide a guarantee for the registrations and the signings of João Cancelo and João Félix.
- @Luis_F_Rojo: The agreement between Barcelona and Manchester City for João Cancelo is imminent. Agreement has been reached between Barcelona and Atletico for the loan of Joao Felix. Both Portuguese players will be Barca players, given their registration is assured.
