F.C. Barcelona has many options for departures. One of those departures is the
American Sergiño Dest (22). The American has one foot out of the culé team,
but there is still hope that he will continue one more season.
Xavi will test him this preseason to see if he has the ability to be in the team. He is not
not ruled out due to the club’s financial problems. The options for the right back are: Joao Cancelo, Iván Fresneda, Pablo Maffeo
and an option that cannot be overlooked, the new signing from Barcelona Atlétic
Barcelona Atlétic signing Trilli.
Sergiño Dest was signed in 2020 from Ajax Amsterdam. It was a request of Ronald Koeman.
He arrived with the expectation of being an epoch-making signing, but was far from it.
It’s not too late for the American, Xavi will give him a chance to show his game,
he could be a good option for the season with Koundé as a starter and Sergiño as a
revulsive.
