After the cancellation of the match against Juve this past Saturday at Levi’s Stadium. Due to the outbreak of viral gastroenteritis that affected several players on the squad. FC Barcelona issued a new statement this Sunday that invites optimism ahead of Wednesday’s match against Arsenal. “The FC Barcelona first team players affected by viral gastroenteritis, which forced the suspension of the match against Juventus FC at Levi’s Stadium, are evolving favourably. No new case has been detected in the last few hours”, details the Barça club.
Likewise, the Barcelona club explained that the training schedule for this Monday will not be altered. “In the double training session scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, the majority of the affected players are expected to participate. Before the match against Arsenal, the Barça squad will have yet another preparatory session. That will help Xavi to continue recovering troops,” they add.
Lastly, the Barça club sends a positive message to the many fans it has in the United States. They sent a message to the fans who want to see Xavi’s team in action this Wednesday in Los Angeles. “FC Barcelona really wants to debut in front of its American fans in the game that will be played at the SoFi Stadium in LA next Wednesday, July 26,” he concludes.
