Abde, the Moroccan winger on loan from Barça, won’t play against them at Camp Nou. His loan contract includes a clause preventing him from facing the Catalan club. Osasuna won’t pay €300,000 to field him, so he was left out of the squad to travel to Barcelona.
Osasuna coach Arrasate wants all his players available for the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid. He won’t risk any key players, including Abde. Absences also include David García, Moncayola, Nacho Vidal, and Brasanac.
Arrasate acknowledged Barcelona’s merit and their improvement in defense. Xavi didn’t speculate if Abde will join the first team next season. He’s happy with Abde’s loan to Osasuna and sees great talent in him to succeed at Barça.
