Robert Lewandowski already beating records at Barça

Robert Lewandowski’s start ofbhis life at Barcelona is leaving everyone speechless. His signing created a lot of excitement and nobody doubted that he would score goals. But the numbers he’s hitting are indeed huge.

After his brace vs Elche, he now has eight goals in six games, 1.33 goals per game. Mr Chip claims that he has seven, not counting one of the strikes against Valladolid. However, no player scored seven in the first six games in the division since Christian Vieri in 1997.

The reality is that Lewandowski’s goal does count so he has eight. This record is beating Barcelona legend Ladislao Kubala, who scored seven in his first six. Five of them were in one game: 6-1 win over Celta Vigo.
