Pre-season 2022/23 just began for Barça Atlètic. Yesterday, Rafa Márquez’s team got underway with the usual medical bills at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper, before setting foot on the pitch to prepare for the new season. The tests that have been carried out satisfactorily have been body composition, podiatric and physical, as well as analytical and echocardiographic tests.
A total of 22 players and some youth players passed through the Medical Services to complete the medical and physical tests. This is the list of players: Nil Ruiz, Álvaro Sanz, Moussa Ndiaye, Álvaro Núñez, Àlex Carbonell, Sergi Rosanas, Fermín López, Txus Alba, Emre Demir, Estanis Pedrola, Saïdou Bah, Juanda Fuentes, Zacarías Ghailan, Pelayo Fernández, Hiroki Abe, Josep Cerdà, Ander Astralaga, Aleix Garrido, Martin Georgiev, Gerard Hernández, Víctor Barberá and Diego Kochen.
Saturday, first training
Now that the medical tests are over, Barça Atlètic will step onto the pitch on Saturday at 9:30 am for the first training session at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper. Rafa Márquez will direct the first session of the preseason at the Ciudad Deportiva. And on Monday the team will travel to Vall d’En Bas to complete a week of preparation at the Royalverd facilities.

Yesterday, the club announced another signing for Barça Atlètic. It is Alpha Diounkou. The Right back will extend his loan for another season. He joined the team in January and did well. It’s certainly good news to see him continue.
