Barcelona and Wolverhampton Wanderers have reached an agreement for the loan of Francisco Trincão.
It will be a season long loan and Wolves will pay his entire salary. They will also have a non-mandatory purchase option.
According to @TimSpiers [the athletic], Wolverhampton Wanderers’ option to buy Francisco Trincão from Barcelona at the end of next season could be around €29m.
A month ago, Sport said that Barcelona consider Francisco Trincão an important asset and maintain confidence in him. However they also said that he would only leave on a good loan or a transfer involving a lot of money. Barça want more than €30m. English clubs are interested.
The Portuguese didn’t convince Ronald Koeman in his first season at the club, according to tge same report.
We also discussed the Trincão question a while back, so it’s not a surprise to see him leave.
Collado Time?
According to @albert_roge, Barcelona B captain Álex Collado will take Francisco Trincão’s place in the first team next season.
As advanced monts ago, the 22 years old will do the pre-season with the first team. And then a decision will be made on whether he will stay or leave on loan.
On March Collado renewed his contract with Barça.
