Barça are in the quarterfinals thanks to goals from Raphinha, Lewandowski (2), Ansu Fati and Kessie. Tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. CET the draw will be held. Here’s what happened during the match.
First Half
Barça dominated from the start, but had a hard time finding width against a very defensive opponent, naturally. Barça were patient and kept possession. Ceuta did try to surprise, but it was very hard for them to get the ball.
It took Barcelona 40 minutes to score the first goal, and it was a nice one by Raphinha. Kessie passed the ball to him on the edge of the area and the left-footed Brazilian winger placed it on the long post, out of Mejías’ reach. 1-0
At the end of the first half, Barça lead by one goal.

Second Half
At half time, Xavi replaced Pablo Torre with Gavi. Torre didn’t have a great match, but it was still a surprising substitution.
The second half was a different story, and it took the team 4 minutes to score again. Good pressure from Barça, Kessie stole the ball and gave another assist. This time to Robert Lewandowski, at the near post, and he didn’t miss that chance. 2-0
At the 53rd minute, Kessie, already with 2 assists, had a good chance, but he missed it.
At the 60th minute, Ansu Fati replaced Ferran Torres, who once again didn’t do well. Hopefully we’ll get to see his best version again soon.
9 minutes later, and Ansu scored a GOLAZO. The boy received the balld on the left, and just ran through Ceuta’s defense and placed it calmly and classily away from Mejías’ reach. Ansu is the best striker that Barcelona has to replace Lewandowski. His ceiling is even higher than Dembélé. Different player, of which there is no one like. If he is regaining confidence, it’s the best news for Barcelona. 3-0
At the 76th minute, Kessie finally got the goal that he deserved. Good lob from Raphinha and the Ivorian managed to put his head in and beat Mejías. 4-0
At the 89th minute Lewandoski received the ball at the edge of the area. The goal machine managed to shoot it right to the goalkeeper’s left side. The Pole settled the final result. It’s 5-0 and Barça are thru to the next round!
