Garcia turned home Barça’s third goal from a set play. Jules Kounde, against his former side, turned Raphinha’s cross back across goal.
The centre-back did previously score for Spain’s U17s in games against Serbia and Germany.
Unfortunately, shortly after scoring, the former Manchester City defender had to leave the pitch due to an injury. Sergi Roberto took his place, allowing Kounde to move to centre-back alongside Araujo.
Until his exit, Garcia did well, continuing his good start to the campaign.

“i’m not injured, i feel great, i am very happy to score my first goal and looking forward to the season after a great start.”
“In the dressing room we always joked that i would never score but i can now check that off the list.”
