Barcelona Atletic finally confirmed the signing of 18-year-old left-back Roman Vega. Last season, the main options for the LB position were Moussa N’Diaye and Alejandro Balde. The first left the club this summer, and the other is pretty much part of the first team, not looking back. Moreover, another option for the LB position was Mika Marmol, who also left the club in the summer.
One player to play as a left back is Alex Valle, who got his promotion from Juvenil A. He also played for the first team in one friendly game this season.
Rafa Marquez wanted another player to compete for the Left Back Spot, and now he got his man, and it’s Roman Vega. The Argentinean U20 left back is a player with great talent. Moreover, he’s close to players with FC Barcelona past. His coach at Argentinos Juniors was Gaby Milito. Moreover, his coach at the U20 Team is Mashcerano.

The 18 years old fullback joins Rafa Marquez’s side on loan. Furthermore, the deal include a purchase option.
Vega arrives from Argentinos Juniors and will wear the No. 12 shirt in 2022-23. In his presentation, he told Barca TV: “It’s crazy that I’m living this dream, I don’t want to wake up anymore; the wait was long, but I’m here,”
The new arrival is a left-back and will add to Marquez’s options during his first season in charge of Barcelona Atletic. Vega already passed his medical and will train with his new team for the first time today. Barca Atletic’s next game is on Saturday vs Murcia. Let’s see if he will participate in that game
