The power and accuracy of Neymar’s shot had meant that it was almost impossible for Guaita to save, with the ball having rolled into the right bottom corner at great speed. Shortly before the first half ended, Messi had made it 4-0, with a beautiful shot coming from outside the box.

On to the second half, Messi had completed his third assist. A through ball to Neymar, had left him one on one with the goalkeeper; beating him on his nearest post. This had marked Neymar’s second goal of the game, concluding an impressive performance by the Brazilian. Before the match ended however, Arda Turan got Barcelona’s 6th goal, with an impressive overhead kick. This marked the end of a convincing game for the Catalans, who dominated throughout.
