The circumstances weren’t too nice, but the players had to give their best version against Celta Vigo. Sergi Roberto, the Catalan player was a starter once again. The team did very well from the beginning.
Negatives:
Everyone looked fresh and motivated. It was a joy to watch, however, almost every time Roberto got the ball you could see that he didn’t know what to do with it, most of the time. He clearly struggled to help the team in attacking and defending equally. He either made a rushed decision or he was just too circumstantial. In the first half, we didn’t really pay attention to his weaknesses, because the whole team played very well overall.
Positives:
Not too much, but there were few good things in his game. He had a crucial movement in the 74th minutes when he blocked a shot which ended at the crossbar. Barcelona would have conceded a goal if he’s not there. The biggest highlight of Sergi Roberto was the goal, no doubt. It was a strong well- placed shot. He worked hard in defending after the red card and that was a good thing to see. It wasn’t his worst game at all, but we could see his usual mistakes.
