The 3 players to benefit from Miralem Pjanic leaving

The transfer window ended few days ago, and the transfer market is finally quiet for a little while. However, like Gerard Romero said on Deadline Day, one of the players that might still leave is Miralem Pjanic.

The Bosnian midfielder returned this summer from a loan spell in the Turkish league, and it looked certain that he would leave. However, Xavi was happy with his performances on preseason. Eventually, Nico Gonzalez left on loan to Valencia, and Pjanic was about to stay at the club.

However, after 4 official matches this season, Pjanic is one of the 3 outfield players that are yet to play a single minute. Memphis and Pique are also on that list. In his situation, Miralem Pjanic received 2 offers – one from Qatar and one from UAE. And it looks like he’s about to accept his fate and move to one of these destinations.

🔄 (PJANIĆ): Miralem Pjanić is now really tempted by the offer from Sharjah FC. The deal could be completed soon as all the involved parties are discussing the final details. It will be a permanent transfer.#FCB 🇧🇦

Although the club and Pjanic agreed on staying, the Bosnian knows his situation. And at this time, a move would be a great thing for Miralem, as he will get playing time.

Pjanic is currently the 6th option on the midfield. Even when Busi was out, Xavi opted for Frenkie to start in his position. And if he can’t be a single pivot? You could always play double pivot, and add Kessie near Frenkie.

Araujo And Gavi

The two first players to benefit from the sale of Miralem Pjanic will be Ronald Araujo and Gavi. Both of them agreed on a new contract. But the club didn’t have the margin to register them on the salary cap.

Onve Miralem Pjanic is out, the club could officially register the new contracts of Gavi and Araujo. Gavi will finally get his first team shirt, and we will all know that we have these two players registered for a long time.

Pablo Torre

The young midfielder is currently in an odd situation. The club prevented him from moving out on loan. Meanwhile, he didn’t make the call for either the first Barca team, nor Barca Atletic.

Now, he might finally get his place in the rotations, as the 6th midfielder in the squad. He’s not a similar player to Miralem Pjanic, but as the 6th midfielder he will get his playing time.

Bottom Line

If Miralem Pjanic wants to go and get more money and playing time, it will be a good idea for all parties. Just like in the Auba case, we have a pro who wants to play and knows he won’t get enough playing time here.

Letting him go would be a win win for all sides involved.
