Raphinha hailed Barcelona’s ability to suffer in the 1-0 win over Celta Vigo. The Brazilian was also angry he was not given a penalty for a trip in the box.
Javi Galan appeared to fell the forward. But the referee nor the VAR official did not think it was right to give a penalty.
“I had the sensation that he touched me and I could not carry on, that’s why I went to ground,” said Raphinha.
The Brazilian added: “I like to score and if I wasn’t touched I could have continued. For the referee it was nothing, and I had to keep playing.”
On the game, he added: “There are matches where we will suffer, because the opponent has quality and wants to win too, but the important thing is that we knew how to suffer to come out with the three points.”
On Ter Stegen, he added: “It’s important to have great players and Marc is a great keeper. Once more he saved us the draw. He’s a keeper who has a lot of confidence.”
