Ansu Fati’s goal and good game in the win against Villarreal (3-0) brought optimism with a view to the next matches of Barça. Beginning with the match vs Athletic Bilbao tonight at the Camp Nou. In that match Barça’s ’10’ will try to overcome a curious challenge that is still pending at the club.
Ansu Fati scored against the ‘Yellow Submarine’ his eleventh goal at Camp Nou. And it so happens that all the home goals of the Hispano-Guinean have always been in the South goal side of the Camp nou. He has never been able to celebrate a goal at Gol Nord, where the Grada de Animació is located.
Ansu’s first goal at home was against Valencia in LaLiga in the 2019/20 season. Afterwards, he scored against Levante, Villarreal, Leganes, Real Madrid and again vs Valencia. In the Champions League he scored a goal at home against Ferencvaros.
“It is a challenge that I have to score in the other goal. The truth is that it is an extra motivation to achieve it”, said Ansu Fati after being asked about this situation after the victory against Villarreal. We’ll see if the ’10’ will be able to score his fiest goal at the Gol Nord this evening.
