Gerard Pique has been at the heart of Barça’s defence since 2008 and has appeared in 549 matches thus far. But he’ll be 34 next year and has certainly started to decline. El Presidente needs a proper replacement. Yet nobody cares about.

ERIC GARCIA (Manchester City)
Market Value: 6.3 Mil.
The 19 yr old left Barça for Man City in 2017 and has made just 17 apps for the English Champions. His contract expires in 2021 and Barça may well try to bring back their lost gem. The like for like replacement.
MILAN SKRINIAR (Inter)
Market Value: 48 Mil.
Skriniar (25) is one of the best CBs and will be a marquee signing. He has a 92% passing accuracy, 69 clearances and 22 interceptions this season. Trivia: Started all 38 Serie A matches for Inter in the 2017-18 season.
DAYOT UPAMECANO (RB Leipzig)
Market Value: 45 Mil (Available for 40 Mil).
Upamecano (21) has been one of the stars of RB Leipzig. This season he has a passing accuracy of 89% in 25 matches. He is a beast in defence contributing to 80 clearances and 37 interceptions.
4. RONALD ARAUJO (Barcelona)
What if we don’t need a signing! Araujo (21) was signed from Boston River in 2018 and shined for our B team. He impressed recently in his first start. He also has Pique to quide him. We will have to see wheter he can be consistent enough though.
5. PAU TORRES (Villareal)
Market Value: 16 Mil.
Pau Torres (23) has been excellent for the Yellow Submarines appearing in 25 matches. He is elegant with the ball having a passing accuracy of 84%. To go with it, he has contributed to 117 clearances and 18 interceptions.
