Alberto Moleiro is the new talent of the UD Las Palmas that leads the La Liga Smartbank. Their coach is former coach of Barca B, Garcia Pimienta. The former La Masia coach praised the quality of his 19-year-old midfielder Alberto Moleiro. Moreover, in recent statements to cadena SER he even admitted that “he has a Barça profile”.
“Moleiro has magic. He is surrounded by great footballers and he is showing an excellent level”, he pointed out about the 10 from UD Las Palmas, to whom he predicts a great future if he does not get lost in his career. “He has a very high ceiling, within a very short time in top-level teams”, said ‘Pimi’. When asked directly about Barça he did not hide his preferences in this regard.
“I would like to see him in Barcelona, I think it’s a clear Barça profile, although we’re talking about big words,” he warned, happy to direct “a team of gamers who normally generate many scoring chances.”
Moleiro has acontract until 2026 and with a release clause of 30 million euros. However, that would double to 60 in the event of yellow promotion. Moleiro played eleven games in the current season, providing three assists so far for a Las Palmas team that knows no defeat after twelve games, accumulating seven wins and five draws.
