Speculation about the future of Alejandro Balde has intensified in recent weeks, particularly in England. The FC Barcelona left-back has been linked with Manchester United, sparking debate about whether the Catalan club could consider selling one of their young stars.
However, the message coming from Barcelona is very clear: Balde is not for sale.
Barça fully trust Balde
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently addressed the rumours and clarified the club’s position regarding the defender.
According to Romano, Barcelona continue to view Balde as a fundamental part of the team’s long-term project.
“Rumours about Manchester United and Alejandro Balde? For now, Barça fully count on Balde and see him as a crucial part of their project,” Romano explained.
Inside the club, the left-back is considered one of the players with the highest potential in the current squad.
A key player for the future
Over the last few seasons, Balde has established himself as one of the most promising young left-backs in European football.
His pace, attacking instincts and energy down the flank have made him a very important player for the team.
Within the club there is a strong belief that he still has significant room to grow and could become one of the central figures of Barcelona’s sporting project in the coming years.
For that reason, the club is not considering any possibility of selling him.
Interest from the Premier League
The interest from Manchester United has been mentioned in several transfer reports coming from England. The Premier League side values the defender’s profile, particularly his ability to attack space and provide width on the left flank.
Even so, according to Romano, Barcelona have no intention of negotiating a transfer for the player.
The club’s priority is to continue developing Balde within the first-team structure.
Flick also counts on him
Within the coaching staff of Hansi Flick, Balde is considered an important element in the tactical system.
The German manager appreciates his ability to provide attacking depth from the left side, something that fits perfectly with Barcelona’s offensive style.
For now, the message coming from the club remains firm: Balde is part of Barcelona’s future.
