In a startling turn of events, FC Barcelona’s rising star, Vitor Roque, found himself at the center of a concerning injury during a recent match. The incident, caused by a harsh tackle from Colombian player Nico Hernández, has raised questions about the young striker’s condition and the potential impact on his budding career.
The incident occurred just nine minutes into the game between Athletico Paranaense and Internacional, during the 24th round of the Brasileirao 2023. Roque, affectionately known as ‘Tigrinho,’ was on the receiving end of a brutal challenge that left him writhing in pain. Hernández received a yellow card for the reckless tackle. As the 18-year-old forward clutched his injured left leg, it was evident that the situation was grave.
