They were rigid, compact, however as soon as Barcelona grew into the game and La Real lost compactness, their massacre began.
Brutal, merciless, ruthless, blaugranas totallly dismantled their opponent tonight. 6 goals at Anoeta ( !!! ), domination, do-mi-na-ti-on. Still in disbelief, this was one of the greatest performances by Barça in recent years. In terms of productivity, performance, everything, to be honest. Picture perfect.

Moreover, Busquets & Messi were fantastic at exploiting gaps in between the lines, Griezmann giving continuity to the ball, Dembélé & Dest making very important runs in behind of defense, attacking indefensible spaces. Alba, once again impactful, De Jong, the new libero.
Happiness, the game brought joy & hope of the better future. Barça are truly improving, progressing, striving for excellence. Furthermore, everyone enjoyed himself on the pitch, individually & collectively Barcelona were superior. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Bravissimo, Barça. This is the level the players have to show on weekly basis, keep it up!
