One of Laporta’s most controversial decisions since he came back was sacking Barca B coach Garcia Pimienta. The coach is now in charge at Las Palmas, and they are are doing well. His team is up there in first place in Spain’s second division. He spoke to El Larguero on various topics. According to Pimi, Nico can be the lerfect player to replace Sergio Busquets.
Nico Gonzalez: I have a lot of faith in Nico. He’s someone Barca can and should take advantage of. He’s perfect to do the Busquets role in the team.
Nico is currently out on loan at Valencia, and he’s doing well there. Few days ago, the youngster spoke in an interview about his wish to come back to Barcelona next season. Moreover, while the local media speak about candidates to replace Busi, Nico reminded that he has the skillset to replace Busquets. After all, this is his natural position.

Ansu and Gavi: Ansu and Gavi debuted with me. Fati did the whole pre-season with me and when we started the season he went to the first team. You don’t imagine that it could happen so quickly.
