Barcelona are looking at Ez Abde with much more attention than seemed likely only a few weeks ago. What recently sounded more like distant monitoring now looks like a real market route.
The change in perception does not come only from memories of his time at La Masia. This time, the assessment comes directly from the coaching staff’s recent analysis of his performances. Flick watched him closely in the last Barça-Betis match, and the internal conclusions were better than expected.
