Lamine Yamal now has his own personal logo, an image designed to reflect the young footballer’s identity, origin, and style of play. Lamine himself was involved in the process and is thrilled with the outcome: “This logo means a lot to me because it brings together who I am, where I come from, and how I play. Seeing my story represented alongside Adidas in this way is really special,” he stated during the launch event.
The Logo Design and Its Significance
The design, developed in collaboration with Yamal, merges his initials with the number 304, referencing the postal code of Rocafonda, in Mataró, where he grew up. The logo also features his iconic left leg over the ball and elements that evoke the urban structures of Barcelona.
Adidas Releases a Behind-the-Scenes Video
To accompany the launch, Adidas has released a video on social media showcasing the creative process behind the symbol. The footage captures the footballer sketching his initials, exploring different shapes, and refining a design that blends personal essence with visual appeal. The images are interspersed with animations that reconstruct the creation of the logo step by step.
Lamine Focused with the National Team
Lamine is currently focused with the national team, where he has become a key player for the squad. The forward recently addressed Barça’s draw against Rayo and comments from Flick, emphasizing the importance of being a team over individual egos.
Lamine’s Interview Insights
In an interview with RTVE, he responded to the coach’s remarks: “That’s what everyone thinks, after a draw you speak in the heat of the moment, ultimately we have to win, but I don’t think it relates. We’ve earned seven out of nine points in very tough venues, which people don’t consider,” he began.
“We haven’t played on our home ground yet, only away. I don’t think it has anything to do with that; it has to do with the fact that it wasn’t our match, we didn’t start with the intensity with which we finished. He’s right that we made many mistakes, but it happens. We need to get back to our level as soon as possible and be ready for the next match.”
