Lamine Yamal’s injury has hit the Barça dressing room hard at the worst possible moment. Hansi Flick knows he has lost his most unpredictable player during a decisive stage of the season. That is why he has made a clear decision: no distractions, no rumours, and no transfer talk.
The German coach is repeating the same message publicly and privately. LaLiga is not finished yet, even if Barça still have an important advantage over Real Madrid. For Flick, any debate about the summer market right now only reduces the team’s competitive tension.

Flick parks the market to protect the squad
Communication with Deco and the sporting department remains constant and clear. The foundations of next season’s squad have already been discussed internally, and the main changes are broadly identified. But right now, Flick believes the only serious objective is finishing the season properly.
The win against Celta left strange feelings inside the coaching staff. Barça secured three extremely valuable points, but the match also showed clear signs of fatigue and concern. The team has gone through emotionally heavy weeks, and Lamine’s injury made everything even worse.
Flick was also unhappy with some refereeing decisions from the game. The disallowed goal for Ferran Torres, due to an almost invisible offside, increased the frustration. But even that worries him less than the current state of the attack without Lamine.
The attack sets off alarm bells
The coach’s main concern is now an attacking line weakened by injuries and poor form. Barça have gone from having a recognizable front line to relying on a less decisive Robert Lewandowski. That reality completely changes the immediate plan for a team that still has to keep winning.
One of the few positives for Flick is Ferran Torres’ recent form. The Valencian forward has responded well in recent matches and is gaining importance for the final stretch. His attitude, movement, and competitive response are among the few good signs in attack.
The opposite is happening with Marcus Rashford, who continues to leave doubts in demanding matches. Flick did not like his attitude against Atlético and was not convinced by what he showed against Celta either. The coach expected more intensity, more hunger, and more competitive commitment.
Raphinha becomes the great hope
That is why all eyes inside the coaching staff are now on Raphinha’s recovery. The Brazilian has not yet trained with the group, but his return is starting to feel urgent. Inside the club, they are even considering whether timelines can be slightly accelerated.
The Getafe match still looks too soon, although a place on the bench is not completely ruled out. The Osasuna game appears more realistic for a possible return, even if only for limited minutes. The main objective is clear: have him ready for El Clásico.
Flick’s conclusion is firm and explains his current position inside the club. He does not want to talk about signings, exits, or summer operations right now. First, he wants to close LaLiga, because without full focus there will be no calm to build what comes next.
