After an unusual start to the season with three consecutive away games, FC Barcelona will finally have the pleasure of playing their first official home match of the season this coming weekend. The location, whether at the Spotify Camp Nou with 27,000 fans—a scenario still pending approval—or the Johan Cruyff Stadium, is yet to be confirmed.
The first team, which wrapped up last week’s training with a depleted squad of 14 players off with their national teams, resumed training on Monday. The session again featured a reduced roster, excluding Balde due to injury, and including Jofre, who did not participate with the reserves. As of now, no players have returned from international duty, and they are not expected to return on Tuesday either.
FLICK’S ROADMAP
Hansi Flick scheduled two training sessions for Monday and Tuesday with the same summer schedule of recent weeks (9:30 AM). Players who concluded their national team commitments yesterday, such as the Spaniards or Lewandowski with Poland, will have three days off and will resume activities on Thursday.

In fact, the German coach has decided to give the entire squad Wednesday off, resuming the usual training schedule on Thursday. The intense summer heat appears to be easing, allowing Hansi to establish the regular routine for the season (training around 11:00 AM).
ARAUJO AND RAPHINHA IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Therefore, after training on Monday and Tuesday at 9:30 AM with the available players and taking a break on Wednesday, Flick will have three sessions with the full squad to prepare for the Barça-Valencia match. Raphinha and Ronald Araujo, who have matches scheduled from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning (Spanish time), are also expected to attend. If there are any travel issues or they arrive late, it’s possible they may join the team by Friday.
