The midfielder thus ends his career at Barça after two years, the first as a squad player, and the other on loan at Girona. Now he terminates his contract. He was signed in July 2023 from Girona, although he trained as a youth player at the Blaugrana academy. Oriol Romeu has been able to fulfill the dream that began in 2004 when he arrived at La Masía.
