Barcelona are still moving in the market and already have two Real Betis names under observation. One is Ez Abde, who is back in the picture to strengthen the left wing if Rashford leaves. The other is Natan, a Brazilian centre-back recently offered to the Catalan club as a defensive alternative.
The sporting department know they must adjust several important areas of the squad this summer. Hansi Flick wants more attacking solutions and a defence with greater immediate hierarchy. That is why Deco is keeping several files open while organising Barça’s market priorities.
Abde’s case is especially interesting because of an economic detail that matters internally. Barça still have a buy-back option and also keep a percentage of any future sale. That makes his situation much more controllable than other attacking routes this summer.
Abde is back for the left wing
The Moroccan winger is gaining strength again because Rashford’s continuity remains very uncertain. If the Englishman leaves, Barça want an alternative with dribbling, pace and knowledge of the environment. Abde fits quite well because of his profile, experience and ability to change games from wide areas.
Inside the club, they value the fact that he already knows the house and the pressure of the badge. His growth away from Camp Nou has also given him greater maturity to compete. That is why he appears again as a serious option if Barça need to move quickly.
He is not the only route open on the left side, but he is one of the most practical. Financial Fair Play still forces the club to choose very carefully where to place each major investment. In that scenario, Abde gains points because of his fit, manageable cost and favourable negotiation context.
Natan appears as a defensive option
Alongside the Moroccan, Natan has also entered the scene after being offered to Barça. His name is not among the absolute priorities for the defence, but it is already being analysed internally. The club see him as a market option while they continue assessing stronger profiles.
The sporting department want to be prepared in case their main defensive targets become too complicated. That is where less media-heavy names can gain space if the market pushes in that direction. Natan has entered precisely that second tier of centre-backs being monitored by Deco.
For now, there is no formal offensive or open negotiation to close his signing soon. Barcelona are studying his profile calmly while searching the defensive market with precision. That lowers the noise, but confirms his name is already circulating inside the club.
Deco keeps reviewing both operations
The conclusion inside Camp Nou is becoming quite clear with this double Betis route open. Barça are interested in two Betis players and are studying both situations carefully. Abde looks like the stronger route, while Natan remains a defensive alternative to evaluate.
Everything will depend on exits, priorities and the real margin Barça have this summer. But in attack and defence, Betis have already entered the Catalan club’s radar. Deco knows it: two important operations for the new Barça could come from Seville.
