The name of Ez Abde is once again gaining strong momentum inside FC Barcelona’s summer plans. The Moroccan winger remains a real option to reinforce the left flank, and now his situation is becoming clearer with a specific price on the table.
According to the information, Real Betis would allow his departure for at least €25 million plus variables. That figure defines the market scenario around the player and confirms that his continuity in Seville is not guaranteed this summer.
Inside Barça, his profile continues to be highly valued. He offers dribbling, verticality, and the ability to break games open from the left, while also already understanding the club’s demands and environment. That familiarity makes him a low-risk and tactically attractive option.
Barça still hold a key financial advantage
There is also an important financial angle that makes this situation even more interesting. Barça previously sold 50% of his rights to Betis for €7.5 million, and later gave up another 20% to facilitate the Vitor Roque deal.
That means Barça still retain 30% of his economic rights today. If Betis complete a transfer close to €25M, Barça would receive around €5 million, a useful boost in a summer heavily shaped by Financial Fair Play.
It is not a game-changing amount on its own, but it becomes valuable in a context where every operation counts. Especially if the club is also considering reinforcing that same position.
Changes around the player hint at movement
Another key factor is happening off the pitch. The same reports suggest that Abde is planning to leave his current agent and join a new agency, led by Alejandro Camaño.
In football, these moves often signal something bigger. Agency changes frequently precede transfers or major career decisions, which adds even more weight to the possibility of a summer exit.
At market level, Abde remains highly rated. His age, talent, and ability to beat defenders one-on-one make him an attractive profile for multiple clubs. That is why Betis have already made it clear they will not let him go cheaply.
A deal with double value for Barça
Inside Barça, this situation is being viewed from two different angles. On one hand, Abde is still a strong alternative if other winger options fall through. On the other, his sale to another club would still generate income.
That dual scenario makes his case particularly interesting. Whether as a signing or as indirect revenue, he remains fully relevant in Barça’s summer planning.
Right now, the picture is quite clear. Betis have set the price, the player is preparing changes, and Barça are closely monitoring everything. One way or another, Ez Abde is once again right at the center of Barça’s summer market.
