Martin Rodriguez Nader, the agent of Fabricio Diaz was at Barça’s headquarters this morning. He discussed the situation of the midfielder, a player that the Blaugrana coaches like a lot. Barça follows the 20-year-old has been for months. The technical staff think that he could function as a long term pivot for Barça. His price tag is around 6 million euros.
Fabricio Diaz is one of the great talents in Uruguayan football. He plays regularly at Liverpool Montevideo. Barça noticed him because of his good passing ability playing in front of the defence. He is a technical player who positions himself very well on the pitch. Therefore he would suit the Blaugrana style. Barça are studying his incorporation as a talent for the future. But nothing has been decided yet.
In fact, Fabricio Diaz would prefer to stay another season in Uruguay to continue his development. But the agent’s visit to meet with the club’s sports department could speed things up.
