Robert Lewandowski is carefully considering his future as the summer window approaches. The striker knows this will be a turning point in his career, and now Juventus has stepped forward with serious intent to take him away from FC Barcelona.
Barça have already presented him with a one-year renewal offer, but it includes a significant salary reduction and a less central role. That new reality does not fully convince a player who has been a guaranteed starter for years.
Initially, Lewandowski’s plan was to stay in Barcelona for one more season without major changes. However, accepting lower pay and a reduced role based on bonuses is not an easy decision. The idea of no longer being indispensable under Hansi Flick also weighs heavily.

Juventus offers a more attractive project
This is where Juventus enters strongly, aiming to present an ambitious and competitive project. The Italian club believes it can still offer him a top-level environment and is ready to improve both his salary and his sporting status.
According to the information available, his agent Pini Zahavi has already been approached by Italian clubs, including AC Milan. However, Juventus appears the most determined to push forward.
Their proposal would include around €6 million per year plus bonuses, but money is not the only factor. Juventus would also guarantee him a central role as the main attacking reference, something Barça can no longer promise.
Barça already planning for a new striker
That contrast highlights the current situation at Barça. The club is clearly working on reinforcing the striker position this summer, which signals that Lewandowski is no longer untouchable.
Several names have already been linked as potential replacements or competition, including Julián Álvarez and Alexander Sørloth. This only strengthens the idea that a major attacking shift is coming.
Barça have also made it clear that their renewal offer will not improve. The financial situation remains tight, and letting Lewandowski leave would free up salary space for new signings.
Saudi Arabia and MLS offer more money, but less appeal
Lewandowski has also received offers from Saudi Arabia and MLS, with Chicago Fire among the interested sides. Financially, those proposals are stronger.
However, they do not match his current sporting ambitions. The striker still wants to compete at the highest level in Europe before considering a final move elsewhere.
That’s why Serie A is becoming a serious option. It offers a competitive environment aligned with his goals, while Barça’s proposal feels less convincing.
Right now, the dilemma is clear. Barça offer continuity with reduced status, while Juventus promise leadership, better conditions, and a fresh start — a decision that could reshape the striker’s future completely.
