Ferran Torres does not want to leave FC Barcelona, despite the market noise. The Valencian forward still plans to continue and fight for an important place. However, Barça will listen if a truly strong proposal arrives.
The situation does not only affect Ferran, with more names on the table. Alejandro Balde, Marc Casadó and Jules Koundé also appear in that group. It does not mean Barça want to sell them, but nobody seems untouchable.
Ferran does not want to leave Barça
Ferran’s position is clear and points directly towards staying at the Camp Nou. The forward feels ready to compete and convince Hansi Flick again. He also believes he can still become important inside the project.
His contract ends in 2027, forcing Barça to make decisions soon. The club rarely feel comfortable with key players entering their final contract year. That means next summer could bring renewal, sale or an uncomfortable scenario.
Ferran has been questioned, but he has also delivered important goals. His competitive mentality is valued inside the dressing room and technical staff. His insistence on staying now puts pressure back on Deco.
Barça listen, but do not gift players away
Barça need financial margin and know sales can unlock important operations. Their planning remains conditioned by Fair Play and pending registrations. Listening to offers does not mean selling cheaply, but testing the market.
In Ferran’s case, Barça would value offers bringing relevant income. The attacker still has interest in Spain, England and Italy. Even so, his desire to stay could complicate any negotiation.
The situation of Alejandro Balde is also delicate because of his value. The full-back has a contract until 2028 and a huge clause. But if an enormous offer arrives, Barça must study it coldly.
Casadó and Koundé also create debate
Marc Casadó is another sensitive case because of his profile and background. He combines youth, a low salary and strong La Masia identity. In economic terms, his sale would represent a very important profit.
The midfielder has shown personality, tactical order and a competitive level valued by Flick. However, the number of midfielders could reduce his minutes in some scenarios. Barça must decide between protecting his growth or using his market value.
The strongest name on the list is Jules Koundé, renewed until 2030. The Frenchman is a starter, has hierarchy and covers two defensive positions. That is why any offer would need to be extraordinary.
Flick will have a big voice
The sporting department can listen, but Flick will influence every decision. The coach needs a competitive, deep squad ready to fight for everything. Selling too much talent could weaken a project still under construction.
Ferran wants to stay, Balde carries academy weight, and Casadó represents future. Koundé, meanwhile, brings immediate hierarchy and elite reliability to the defensive line. Each case has a different price, context and sporting impact.
Barça are preparing for a summer balancing money and ambition. The idea is to listen, value and avoid showing urgency. The twist is clear: Ferran has moved first, but Barça must now decide how much they resist.
Caution note: At the time of writing, there is no official agreement for any of these Barça exits.
